Crypto Winter is happening !

The last week has been a blood bath for crypto market. First we have the Terra Luna incident causing the crypto market to go below $30k and in some exchange even reach around $25K. The impact cannot be taken lightly because Luna was one of the top 10 cryptocurrency market in terms of market cap before the incident.

What happen with Luna ?

First we need to know the utility of Luna. Luna was correlated with a stablecoin named UST. They were interchangeable with an algorithm. So if you have luna , you can exchange it for UST and you can exchange UST for Luna ( $1 worth of Luna for every UST ) and keeping it stable using burn mechanism. The algorithm seems to be good because traders can go back and forth from UST to Luna and Luna to UST to keep the UST Stable. Problem arises when whales started to sell their UST and creating more Luna faster than they can burn. It will cause a death spiral where people keep selling UST hence creating more and more Luna causing both Luna and UST to dump faster.
Luna went almost to 0 and rebounded to around $0.000015 when people are buying the deeep. Thats 99% of the $80 value before the depegging. UST went to around $0.1 per UST. Very abysmal for a stable coin.

My thoughts on Luna

I think the Luna incident is a lesson that we all must do our research before investing in crypto and just put the money that will not affect our finance to invest. Crypto is a very volatile and risky investment with great return in the long run. I have read that some people lose their live savings and some took their life due to this incident.
If you are affected by this incident please keep your head clear, you will be able to make it back someday. It is not the end. Make this experience to diverse your portfolio with my allocation : 50% savings, 25% low- medium risk and 25% medium to high risk ( This is not financial advice , just my risk appetite ). Don't try to get rich quick. There are some great stories about people making 10x - 1000x by investing in crypto, however they are just small fractions of the story. More and more people are losing their money because of greed. Please stay level headed. 

As for Luna itself, i believe they are voting to fork to Luna 2.0. I believe this is the easiest way out but sounds like a scam, just my opinion. ( I am not sure if I can trust them ). The best solution is to save the current Luna ( which will be called Luna Classic ) however it will take a lot of money to burn 6.5 trillion or more token. Let's hope for the best solution for The Terra foundation and let's hope they are not trying to cheat luna token holder twice.

Bitcoin & Ethereum Prices - May 10, 2022

After a rough weekend, Bitcoin is continuing its slide at around $30K now. Bitcoin has been in a downtrend for a while now and today’s price marks the lowest bitcoin has been in 2022. Fear of inflation and Fed’s decision to raise interest rate has hit the stock market and bitcoin very hard. Some of public companies holding bitcoin are in the red as they are buying bitcoin at a little over $30K on average. Fear and Greed Index are at its lowest in 2022 also, sitting at 10 at the moment which looks very bad in the short to medium term.

If you are a believer in crypto and bitcoin like myself, it would be a great time to start watching the moment to buy bitcoin. It is almost like Steve from cryptocrewuniversity says “ The Golden Zone” to buy bitcoin. I myself is buyind ADA as i believe in the project in the long term. This year will be a great year for ADA.

Bitcoin & Ethereum Prices - April 29, 2022

 

We are closing in on end of April, and we are still unclear where bitcoin will go at the moment.

Bitcoin during the last week has tried to rally to around $40-41K, slump to around $38K and then back up to $40K and then yet again go down to around $38K.

To tell you the truth, it's not looking good for bitcoin. One of my favorite technical analysis trader is Steve from CryptoCrewUniversity.com. Based on the fact on the charts, he predicted that May will be very bad for bitcoin. Bitcoin is awaiting the Mega Crash that will bring bitcoin down to the golden buying zone. ( Death cross is looming on the horizon ). He also predicts that bitcoin can rally to $50k before going 50% down.

This  week has been a bumpy ride for bitcoin. Starting on the Easter weekend where bitcoin drop even further down to as low as $38K and managed to get back up a little bit to around $41K as we speak. 

The fear of recession and inflation is on the horizon for US economy. Historically, an inverted yield curve has been used by many people as an indicator of economic recession on the horizon. Of course we wouldn't want that but it is better to be prepared. 

As for inflation, the backlog of supply chain since the pandemic doesn't really help. Prices keep rising and also buying power are going down. Maybe bitcoin can be a solution to hedge against inflation ? Of course this is not a financial advise since I am not a financial advisor.

The Danger of Denque - My experience with Denque Fever

 Hello Guys,

Sorry I have not been updating my blogs lately. As you can guess from the title, Yes I was hospitalized due to Denque Fever this last few weeks.  

Denque fever is something new even to me. For everybody who doesn't know what it is, let me give a brief explanation.

Basically, a denque fever is an virus infection caused by a mosquito called Aedes Aegypti which resides in tropical country. Mostly will bit you during the day as most regular mosquitos will bit you during the night.

After you got bitten and if your body is not in top condition, you will get fever. A very high fever. In my case it was 40 degrees celcius. Because of this, it is very easy to misdiagnose the disease for Covid, which will give u a high fever too ( Although not as high as denque fever )

Because the high fever didn't come down, I went to get a blood test in which the result is not very good. I had a very high D DImer and a very high CRP. At that time I still thought that I got covid. When the 2nd night i reached 40,5 Degrees celcius, I rushed to the hospital Emergency Room and was admitted to covid room after around 4 hours waiting. 

I spent 1 night there while my blood was tested and I did a PCR. The next day, my pcr result came back negative hence there were more blood work needed. Apparently after further testing, I have contracted the denque virus.

At that time, I was at the first phase of denque fever which is the Fever Stage. I had fever for 3 days and suddenly it was gone on the 3rd day. 

The next phase of the denque fever is the critical stage. I suddenly didn't have fever and I felt much better. But my blood test result shows otherwise. My didimer keep rising and Trombosite keeps going down. This is the most critical phase. In this phase, denque fever can lead to Bloody denque fever or can go to the healing phase. Any bleeding or blood that come out of your body can be dangerous as it can be your blood plasma exploeding. In this phase, your body will be red and this is where you need to be on your bed 24/7

If you can keep your bed rest to the fullest, your body will go to the healing phase. In this phase you are not out of danger yet. You will get rash, sometimes nosebleed etc. The worst part of this phase is that you will feel itch all over your body. Some people will get itch in their hand, some will get itch on their feet. In my case, my hand was very itchy. I couldn't even sleep until 4 o' clock which in turn doesn't help with my healing. 

After a few days, your trombosit will start to go up as well your White Blood Cell Count. You still get tired easily, but you can go back to your regular activities ( just in moderation ). I am now able to go back to work and do several light activities. 

That's my experience with Denque Fever. I hope that my experience will give you some insight so that you know what to do if you get it.

Yesterday night, Bitcoin had a small rally, putting it sideways in around $44K. Altcoins are also showing strength with a rally even higher than bitcoin. ( Well some of the good ones  including ADA and DOT , which both are facing resistance as we speak ). Now that bitcoin is in resistance area, we will see if bitcoin can reclaim $47/48K or go lower back to $40K. It is the weekend and we all now what bitcoin usually does on the weekend. Let's hope for a good momentum as we are going to the next week.

Bitcoin & Ethereum Prices - March 24, 2022

Bitcoin gain a bit of momentum yesterday and right now sitting a little below $43K. Now as we said earlier, this area of $43K - $45K is one of the important area to watch out for. We have been rejected a few times in the last week or so. Hence further rejection could mean BTC could go even lower. If BTC can go above $45K, then the next target would be around $48K where it always shows a huge amount of resistance.

 

Also to inform you, If you are invested in token NSFW in the Smart Chain Ecosystem, be sure to check out their discord / telegram as they are currently doing a migration to Polygon / MATIC as they are trying to make improve the perception of their coin. ( BSC is always synonymous with shit coin ). Don't miss out on the migration !

As we can see here, Cardano and DOT are rebounding nicely from weekly low last week. Gaining more than 10% each. These prices are likely to reflect on the amount of projects running in the ecosystem. These good news wasn't reflected when btc was below $40K. But with bitcoin showing some strength, some of the coins with good fundamentals are starting to show some strength. Hopefully we can continue this trend further.

I am sorry that i haven't updated the prices for a while now. During the weekends, our whole family got Covid 19. As we are all vaccinated, our family didn't get any serious symptoms. Just fever, cough, and sorethroat as well as headache.

Now, let's get on to business. Bitcoin is moving sideways for a few days after some upward movement to 42K.Altcoins, including ethereum actually performed quite well compared to bitcoins. News are mostly mixed as we are in the middle of the week right now.

Bitcoin during the weekends remain stagnant. We have some hopeful people that predicts that BTC wil end March at around $46K. Looking at the strong accumulation period, i believe there is a good chance that it might happen. As bitcoin goes sideways, ethereum and cardano is showing a bit sign of weakness, especially cardano with the negative news regarding the founder. Hopefully it goes away soon and cardano can be back on track. I truly believe in the project and the technology it uses.
